Presentation on Best Practices - Kerala Cops Confluence 2025

The Winter Session of the Kerala Cops Confluence, an association of retired senior IPS officers, was held
at Hotel Dimora, Thiruvananthapuram on 16 th November, 2025. The event was attended by the current
DGP, Mr. Ravada Chandrashekhar IPS, and several former DGPs. Mr. Johnson J. Edayaranmula,
Executive Director of NRC-NCD delivered a presentation titled “Road Accidents: A Social & Health
Crisis,” covering global, national and state data, emerging trends and best practices in prevention. The
session coincided with the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. A memento was
presented to Mr. Johnson by the DGP. An additional session was led by Mr. Rishiraj Singh IPS while
personal anecdotes and experiences were shared by Mr. C. Subramaniam IPS, Mr. M. G. A. Raman IPS,
Dr. Alphonse Louis Erayil IPS and Dr. Sukumaran Nair IPS. The event facilitated meaningful discussions
among senior police leaders and strengthened collaboration on public welfare and safety.
